Thompson's have just completed the demolition of Wellbar house; Wellbar House was located in the heart of Newcastle city centre on the doorstep of the city's beloved St James Park.

16/10/2007 - Newcastle City Library

Thompson's of Prudhoe have just completed the demolition of Newcastle City Library. Located in the heart of the city, the building had been constructed in 1962. It was a four storey concrete framed building with panel infill.

11/09/2006 - WESTGATE HOUSE

Works are continuing on Westgate House to complete demolition for the Christmas Holiday period.  Thompson's are working closely with all stakeholders, including Newcastle City Council, our Client (One North East) and the project Planning Supervisor (WSP).

23/11/2005 - HAUGHTON STROTHER

Planning application was granted to ourselves on the 1st November 2005 for the extraction of 1.9 million tonnes of sand and gravel.  Construction of new access road, site compound area with restoration to lakes for nature conservation and amenity at Haughton Strother, Humshaugh.
